As most of our readers know, we have an end-times series out for several years now. Basically, this site is geared to the true identity of Israel (encompassing people besides the Jews) and the events of the end times, especially the governmental powers that arose during history, and the culmination of the "Revived Roman Empire" headed by the Assyrian Antichrist. By studying the book of Daniel, we saw that demonic entities empowered various world leaders. And it is this subject I want to touch on today.
About the books I've read deal with end times. The one book is about the Origin of the Nations and traces various people to Noah's sons. Like us, they believe that the house of Israel migrated to NW Europe and Britain and the United States. The second book is called "The Demonologist: The Life of Ed and Lorraine Warren".
Now, you may be asking, and rightly so, what does a book tracing the origin of the nations and another about demons have to do with end times? Glad you asked. Besides Israel, the Bible speaks of other nations and peoples that opposed Israel. The bible does not identify them as "Russia" or "China" but rather Meshech, Tubal or Magog instead. So it pays to understand which nations relate to the biblical names so that all eyes can be on them when conflicts arise.
As for a book about demons, this directly does not speak about end times, but we do know that the bible speaks very clearly about end times demonic entities and this book regarding the supernatural investigations and exorcisms of the Warrens only convinces the reader of the extreme magnitude of these entities and are not to be taken lightly. In other words, it puts one in a more understanding and serious frame of mind regarding them. The evil in the end times involves more than just a super-charismatic world ruler who just wants to run the show. This is intense behind-the-scenes spiritual warfare as well. In addition, I am getting concerned with more and more paranormal sightings of such creatures which may be an indicator we are approaching the end times.
On this note, let us talk a little about demonic entities and the paranormal world.
Many conservative Christians say that the occult is not what it seems to be, but merely the tricks of the devil to divert faith. That is true, but the very diversion itself is the manifestation of these entities. Therefore I take them to be real. I don't care if Satan appears as an angel of light to trick you into believing he's Jesus, or as a scary spirit like one sees in the "Exorcist" or similar movies. He will manifest himself in whatever manner he sees fit for his purpose. Remember, Satan is a master of deception so "anything goes" to achieve his end. He has no rules to abide by save the Lord does not allow him to do something.
Let's turn our attention to the Poltergeist. One can research in the library or on the Internet, but I come across one common theme: unlike ghosts that haunt places, a poltergeist will haunt a person. As a matter of fact, the Warrens speak of human and inhuman spirits. Ghosts are often associated with human spirits (but not always) whereas poltergeists are more of the inhuman variety (they use the term poltergeist and demon interchangeably as Ed Warren in all his research was convinced that the "poltergeist is none other than a devil or demon"). Modern psychic research refuses to assert the supernatural properties of the poltergeist and instead try to explain it away by claiming it's subconscious psychokenesis amongst other things. The "agent" or the person hosting this entity is manifesting subconscious rage and then objects move or fly about. However, there is one other common theme regarding the poltergeist agents: they are usually pre-teen or teenage girls. In addition, these entities oftentimes behave in a sexual manner. This has been going on since ancient times with incubus or succubus legends (demons that have intercourse with their sleeping victims).
It does not take a Spiritual Einstein to see a connection here. An agent? Teenage girls? Sex? Where did we see this behavior before in the Bible? Yes, the Genesis 6 incident! Let's read that passage and understand:
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. [i.e. had sex with them]
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
According to Job, the sons of God were angels. The only reference in the Old Testament of men being called the sons of God is in Hosea, and in that instance they are "sons of the living God" (singular). That living God is the resurrected Christ, and "God" is singular referring to Jesus. However, the other phrases "sons of God" the word God is "elohiym", the plural of God and is the same phrase used in Job to describe the angels. In addition, the majority of the apocryphal works and commentaries on Genesis agree that these "sons of God" were fallen angels.
Thus, we made a connection with Poltergeists to those angels of Genesis 6, albeit a skeptic would not be convinced. But even if not convinced, here is another thought. Where would the souls of these hybrid creatures of Genesis 6 want to go after death? It would seem to make sense that they are the same entities that would want to possess people, perhaps to inhabit a human body again. Poltergeists have a similar pattern. In the same book pertaining to the Warrens quoted earlier, there are 3 levels of demonic influence. First is merely infestation where they "try to get you to notice them" by poltergeist behavior. Upon accomplishing that, the next stage is demonic oppression affecting the person's behavior, i.e. they seem to feed off fear and anger. Finally, there is demonic possession. The demonic entity displaces the person's very soul so that there is no recollection during possession and a part of their lives were lost (sounds sort of like alien abduction time lapses). Now mind you, Ed and Lorraine Warren did not connect anything mentioned in this book with Genesis 6. Yet, I find it astounding that the descriptive behavior is virtually identical. And even if they are not the same entities, there is no denying that biblical demons mentioned other than Genesis 6 and Poltergeists seem to have similar characteristics and goals. I therefore not only came to this conclusion, but changed my vocabulary to fit the mundane person's understanding. That is to say, that many people do not know much about demons, but they will know something about paranormal events and understand something about a Poltergeist. I therefore use the word "demon" and "Poltergeist" interchangeably. That means that if they are the same, then the future Antichrist will be possessed by a Poltergeist of sorts, and as such we must realize that if one is haunted by such an entity, that this means more than just chairs flying around. Such an entity may be powerful enough to kill tens of thousands of men! This is not to be taken lightly.
Closely related to the Poltergeist in the paranormal world are similar, albeit more "calm" dark entities. Shadow people seen at the periphery of one's eyes are common manifestations. Usually they seem quite "shy" and disappear upon being seen when one turns their heads quickly toward them. They may manifest anywhere be it in one's dark bedroom at night or in the open, even where one works. They also take on various shapes and sizes. Since they are usually called shadow people, or shadow beings, they generally have the silhouette of a person, but take on other forms such as black mists, shadow cats (could this be where we get the idea of witches having black cats?) and even large shadow spiders on the wall. In the paranormal world, many psychic's jury is still out on what these are. Some feel they are innocent ghosts of people perceived at a different level of consciousness in the person, or perhaps their degree of manifestations. Some psychics don't believe we "see" ghosts in the normal sense of seeing, but when we see such a manifestation, that it's a psychic thought projected onto the mind of a person by another entity (which explains why some people can't see them). If it's a lousy "transmission" so-to-speak like a snowy television picture perhaps, then the person may receive only shadows. The other end of the spectrum is that they are indeed dark entities, the position we take here, considering that although nothing every extremely bad seems to come from these manifestations, they do not give people a good feeling of rejuvenation, either. If we want to get "Einsteinish" about this, perhaps any manifestation is where their hyper-dimensional world meets ours, just like a sphere intersecting a plane makes a circle, and the two-dimensional creature sees the effects of the circle, but not the entire sphere. When the circle moves out of the sphere, there is no more intersection, and thus no more manifestation.
But other shadow people are not quite so shy and are even terrifying. Associated with night terrors and sleep paralysis (as with alien abductions) is the "Hat Man" and "hooded shadow being" just standing there as if watching a person. It may be dark in one's bedroom, but one will still "see" this manifestation in the corner or by a door (and sometimes right next to their bed!) because they are described as "darker than dark". If I may take a brief side road here, I suppose the reason these things sometimes appear dark is because of energy transference. It takes energy for a spirit to materialize and thus some thermal energy and other environmental energy is taken from the surrounding area. I would think that a negative entity takes from the environment, whereas a good one can give back energy, but I digress.

A common type of shadow figure is the hooded creature, usually just a dark but substantive silhouette. However, some report the creature as having diabolical and frightening red eyes on occasion. Whether one wants to believe this is the same type of demonic entity that the Warrens dealt with or not, one thing is for certain. It apparently materializes and as such may be dangerous. In one story pertaining to a black entity materializing, Ed Warren (while in his study) saw a dark black vortex-type entity materializing a few feet from where he was. He knew he had to grab a crucifix and holy water (from the Jordan River) to ward it off before it materialized because once in that state, he said it was particularly dangerous. I think this is the extreme case and I don't want people reading this message and then going to bed with the willies or even causing one to have bad dreams. But in the case of the hooded figure, I don't know of any story that this particular entity did what the poltergeist does, but rather just displays an ominous characteristic of standing threateningly near to the person, and then eventually vanishes. Perhaps when we say poltergeist or hooded figure or Hat Man or whatever else one wants to call them, the difference may be simply in what they do. If the entity decides to interact with the environment (or, in some cases, girls) where there is observable moving phenomenon, we use the term "poltergeist" (because things get noisy which is the meaning of the term in German). However, if the entities rather just stand there and look at a person, then they may take on the form of shadow people. No matter what one believes, it probably is not good considering these creatures apparently work for the same boss so-to-speak. |

Closely related to the hooded figure is the Hat Man. To my knowledge, the Hat Man never hurt anyone, but merely stood there and watched a person while giving them the most terrifying and evil feeling as if He represented pure Evil. Some believe he is the Devil Himself as if to watch a person to see if all the other scare tactics of the other beings did their work right. He seems to be some sort of "boss". Closely associated with this guy are the famous UFO's "men in black" which some psychics claim are the material manifestations of the Hat Man. The Hat Man is basically as tall as a regular man, but some have reported him at various heights, even as short as 3 feet (like a little alien). He is usually a dark silhouette standing in one's bedroom as if he's watching the person. However, he is sometimes has ominous red eyes. He most often wears a fedora-type hat and sometimes has what appears to be a walking stick and even a briefcase. The strange thing is that even though this sounds like 1950's style Western clothing, the phenomenon of Hat Man is experienced worldwide and at different times. Hat Man does not seem to indicate that anything ominous is going to happen to the person, such as appearing before their death or anything like that. He appears and disappears suddenly into and out of a person's life without extra meaning to the manifestations other than it scares the person. Much like the hooded figure and the shadow people, he seems to be elusive and merely a spiritual "lurker" in that sense. Our theory here is that if one "could tick them off" they may turn into something like a Poltergeist and manifest different behavior, but we simply so not know enough about them to say for sure. |
As one has probably noticed by now, other creatures may be related to these dark entities considering UFO appearances and abductions also seem to have a similar theme (after all, these creatures do "reproductive" experiments as well). But we wanted to touch on the dark entities in this message. The Grays, the Reptilians, the "men in black" and other UFO albeit spiritual type phenomenon can be discussed later, but I think we can lump them all into the same main category of demonic manifestations. Again, I think the real issue is more "what they do" that inspires the specific name of the entity. If the entity changes their behavior, then they are known as something else.
When I was small child, I realize now that I saw in my bedroom an entity that would pass for the Hat Man. The primary difference was that this being was only about 3 feet tall and all green instead of black. But he was still only a shape, no features that I remember. The hat appeared to be in the shape of a large-brimmed country straw-type hat, and I would refer to him as the "green boy". To my recollection, he was not holding or carrying anything. He was merely standing there in rigid form with legs and arms positioned slightly apart. When Morfessa asked me how he got into my room, I said that he came thru the window. He was positioned a threatening ten feet or so away from me. Later on in life, you could imagine the experiences I felt when I learned of "Hat Man".
There have been paranormal experiences where I work. These seem to occur mainly as shadow people and may explain feelings of hostility I oftentimes feel. Usually whenever I get such feelings, I find there's something brewing behind the scenes and then something significant may happen (as if I am an antenna for people's feelings). When this happens I notice an increase in sightings or general uneasiness.
To cite some examples, I constantly see shadows along my peripheral vision and then turn only to see nothing, except to have a temporary creepy feeling that something was there. In all fairness, I would not describe it as a dread, just a little like "being watched" without overly threatening feelings.
One day while walking a somewhat dark hall, I noticed a dark streak shoot across the hall coming out from a manager's office. Oddly enough, this moved right to left. The Warrens claimed that Demonic entities move from left to right, or approach a person from behind, not in the front where my vision was located.
On another occasion, two separate workers saw black streaks. The one saw it move across the room in one direction. The other worker later saw it move in the opposite direction as if it was returning from where it came from. Later on that day, layoffs (20% of the workforce) were announced. It's as if these things feed off of negativity and/or manifest during negative times.
The most terrifying feeling of being watched was from the supervisor himself. He was in a back room machine shop. You see, we all wear these dark suits as part of the work requirements, so if there is a "shadow" along side you, it may simply be your coworker. However, when one turns to look, they'd still be there if it was a coworker. In this case, he had a feeling someone was behind him. He turned, and sure enough it was one of his buddies. Later on, he heard someone come in and felt someone big was behind him, seeing a shadow in his peripheral vision (and his buddy was indeed a large, young man). So he just kept working assuming it was him. When he turned, there was nobody there this time, but he definitely thought there was something "dark" there. He joked with me and said, "You and your shadow people. Now I'm seeing them." I just explained that probably it was the magnetic field of some equipment behind him can play tricks on the brain, but I did not say anything about the supervisor's office, the other streaks that coworkers saw, nor countless times that one sees these things out of the corner of their eyes where there are no large magnetic fields. But there was no need to creep a fellow out more than he already was.
This was a paranormal side road I decided to take to merely whet our appetite for asking the question: Are these signs of the approaching end times with increased demonic activity? And may I ask, why do these things seem to feed where there's negativity? You decide, but I can't help but to think that what we are experiencing is the prerequisite for the end times, and the increasing forces of Satan. Now we know why the apostle Paul said to take on the full armor of God.
And, oh, I want to add one more thought before I close this message. If you are being bothered with mere manifestations of some sort, then count your blessings. Rather one gets a little spooked than Satan coming as an angel of light and deceiving a person into thinking he's the truth. That to me is the most diabolical manifestation one can experience, just like demonic possession. Yes indeed. Put on the whole armor of God.
