I want to share a with our readers an experiment that I performed that proved undoubtedly that the lost tribes reside in the British isles, namely Ephraim from whence came Manasseh and became their own nation of the United States. Of course our readers out there already know this as we were teaching it for years and years. However, I get sick and tired of the skeptics that challenge the biblical evidence and descriptions and come up with their own convoluted theory instead. They make themselves sound so intelligent and the likes of us as dummies that believe fables and twist scripture to fit our notions.
I always say that the critics do not realize that we take the biblical evidence first and then look for the nations that fit the lost tribes descriptions. Instead, they erroneously believe we "pick" the nations first and then twist biblical passages to make them fit. Nothing could be further from the truth. All of a sudden a simple, yet effective idea came to my head to prove that we are not just making this up. I asked myself, why don't we play a game? How about taking the biblical descriptions of the lost tribes, mainly Ephraim and set those clues in order for people to guess the nation themselves? If they come to the same conclusion that we do here, then we know that we are not making scripture "fit" anything.
That's just what I did. I went to a non-Christian forum and claimed that I was playing a "party game" that had sets of clues to describe a person, thing or whatever. One set of clues pertained to a country and people. We could not agree on what country this was at our party game, so I was asking people on this forum for their input. Mind you! I NEVER mentioned these were biblical clues. I made them sound like they were my own, but each one was in reality supported and stated by scripture. There are SCORES of clues regarding Ephraim in the bible, but I only gave SEVEN! That's right, JUST SEVEN!
Here they are (and the scripture references in RED for our readers' benefit):
1. I am a nation Northwest of Israel in the isles (some call them coastlands). (C.f. Isaiah 49:1,12 where he's addressing Israel in the isles)
2. I am separated from bordering nations and those that do border me are in the same Kingdom. (C.f. Isaiah 49:19, Deuteronomy 33:28 regarding dwelling alone and away from enemies)
3. The people of my race became a large population size (C.f. Genesis 22:17, Hosea 1:10)
4. I colonized many nations all over the earth and became a commonwealth of nations. (C.f. Genesis 28:14, Genesis 35:11, Genesis 49:19)
5. I once controlled about ¼ of the Earth's population and their resources (C.f. Numbers 23:10)
6. There is an enduring monarchy here, even to this day. (C.f. II Samuel 7:10-16 regarding the eternal Davidic Covenant over the people of Israel)
7. (Lastly) Some of my colonists I lost became their own nation. (C.f. Genesis 49:22-24, Isaiah 49:20)
I had about a dozen replies. That number in itself is revealing! They unanimously agreed that it was England or the UK! Now, let me ask the skeptics this question. If people can PLAINLY see that these clues point to England, then why can't I come to the same conclusion? Why would skeptics believe the lost tribes are elsewhere like a remote place in the Himalayas or some other obscure place? Or again, why do the skeptics sometimes believe they are NOT lost and apply these descriptions to the Jews??? Who sounds foolish now? And all this was only on SEVEN CLUES, not the many, many more that the bible gives.
But wait! There is more than even I did not expect! One fellow said that the "commonwealth of nations" part was a DEAD GIVEAWAY. Yet, skeptics cannot see the same thing if a swinging 20-pound bag of rocks hit them on the side of their scholarly high-horsed heads! He was basing his decision on more or less ONE CLUE. However, he did not like the part where they were described as a race. I was thinking of Anglo-Saxons, but in fact he said the culture was diverse. No problem! He UNKNOWINGLY added ANOTHER biblical description because you see, when we taught about the throne of David being transferred to where Israel resided, the passage of Scripture mentioning this also says that "fowl of every wing" shall dwell there. In other words, one mark of the house of Israel was the diverse race of people that dwelled with them!
In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
This man added it, not me. He had NO CLUE I was spitting out bible descriptions. So much for the skeptics' beliefs that we are racist!
You know what? The reason that skeptics cannot see this is because they do not want to see it. They are friggin blinded and that's all there is to it. So the next time someone spouts off to you that there are no lost tribes, or that the lost tribes are not the British, ask him if he'd do you a favor. Ask to connect a hose to his mouth so that you have enough hot water to do your dirty towels. They are clueless as to what they are talking about and that's about what it's worth.
