The Coming Lunar Tetrad

Back in December of 2010, we had a spectacular lunar eclipse over the United States of America. We had a message out about the prophetic implications. Consider that eclipse, and one coming again December 2011 just a preview of the coming Tetrad, an occurrence where there are four total lunar eclipses in a row. Now for those of you familiar with astronomy know that a lunar eclipse does not happen month after month after month. An eclipse always occurs when the moon’s path crosses our ecliptic, called a node. When one circle (the moon’s orbital plane) crosses the eclipse (the earth’s orbital plane around the sun), we can see that the point of intersection of two circles is opposite each other, which explains why eclipses tend to happen roughly opposite times of the year. So, “four eclipses in a row” simply means that each eclipse, when it occurs, will be total as opposed to partial, penumbral, or whatever. The moon will be dead on target inside the umbra, the darkest part of the earth’s shadow four times in a row.

So. What has the bible prophecy preachers all up in arms about these eclipses? The answer is that the ones in April fall on Passover and the ones in October and September happen on the feast of Tabernacles. This happens very rarely, and when they do, “something significant” occurred with the Jewish people.
These tetrads have a habit of occurring only in these last two centuries, except way, way back in time in the 1400’s when the Passover/Tabernacles tetrad occurred when the Jews were “at war” being dispersed out of Spain. Then the next Passover/Tabernacles tetrad occurred 1949-1950, just after Israel became a nation, and again due to the neighboring protest of Israel becoming a nation were once again in conflict. The next tetrad occurred in 1967-1968 when the Jews again were at war and regained control of Jerusalem in the war of 1967. So each and every time these Passover/Tabernacles tetrads occurred, we see the Jews were at war.
Is Christ Coming Back in
2015?
After we just reviewed the evidence, it’s amazing that people suddenly connect the historic incidents with something as major as Christ coming back. One pre-tribulation rapturist concluded the “Second Coming” was going to be in 2015, so considering a 7-year tribulation concluded that the rapture was going to happen in 2008. It’s surprising that article is still there yet. If I’d put myself into that embarrassing position, I’d pull that message faster than one can shake a stick and hope that nobody caught that.
I say that the coming tetrad need not be as earth-shattering as the Second Coming of Christ, but if we logically extrapolate this out, it may have something to do with the Jews again. Then again, maybe the Lord will give them a break for this tetrad and nothing will become of it since they been through hell and high water the last three. But if they are at war, I have a hunch what it may be about. The first was about dispersion, but the second regaining the land of Israel, the third was about regaining Jerusalem. Will the last one have something to do with the temple? If the temple is built, then the second coming of Christ will be imminent, but not necessarily at the time of these eclipses. They would precede the Lord’s coming. But would not the building of the temple cause WWIII? After all, the Dome of the Rock is there. Yes, I believe so, and this would be a nice way to set things up for the future beast. Nevertheless, the Jews are planning for the temple now as shown by this web site:

to implement this whole plan, and there’s no talk of violence taking over the
mount, but rather the tone of this group is that one day the Lord will provide
a way, and they are not looking for a specific day, but that we all can
participate in building the temple now.
What are Liaf’s thoughts? I dunno. But, if I were God, but I’m not, I would say the easiest way would be some sort of natural catastrophe. Ya know, an earthquake or something (just as Revelation predicts)? Of course there would still be the land issue, despite the ruins, and there may be just as much of an emotional outcry if then this catastrophe made way to build a temple over on near the ruins. I just don’t know. But there has to be a way this will be accomplished so that the beast can do his “abomination thing” in the temple before the Lord comes back.
Nevertheless, without going into excessive detail concerning this tetrad (because we simply do not know), I want to create an air of “watchfulness”. It is quite obvious that more and more signs are fast appearing these days, which will point ultimately to the Coming Kingdom of God.
