This is going to be a VERY short message, but a critical one. Indeed, I should say it is a rhetorical question type of message. I checked my FTP program to see when I uploaded these flags. They were part of this main index page almost since the beginning of this site. We opened the site on January 2001, and the flags were placed on the site in late May 2001.
For our critics out there who would call us a "British Israelite" cult, I must remind them that these flags were placed on the index page BEFORE the World Trade Center disaster and the war against Iraq with our strong ally Great Britain. Now how would we (my brother and I) have known that we'd be together (or fight together) like this???? How would we have known LONG before the disaster, the terrorist attacks and the war that Great Britain and the United States would be together? We know because the Bible says so!!!! Look at Deuteronomy 33:17 that says:
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
Between us, we have fulfilled this prophecy. This is not only happening now, but in the past as in WWI and WWII. Of course picky people will say that we are greater than Great Britain and as such the roles are reversed. Therefore, they will use this as a defense of their position that what we teach cannot be true since we are greater than Great Britain. I would not be so sure. In absolute terms we are greater. Even modern-day Iraq is more powerful than ancient empires because of technology. If they were to go back in time, Iraq today could probably defeat world empires! The same could be said of Great Britain. A modern British military could easily defeat their own world Empire at war if they were to go back in time and fight themselves. Yet, we say that Britain is waning today. Why? That's because we are speaking in relative terms. Great Britain became a commonwealth of nations and in their heyday they were GREATER than we will ever be. They were the greatest relative to the rest of the world. They colonized and controlled the whole world. Indeed, what (second) language is spoken the most? (And whose influence was that?) But they are fading now as the Bible predicted, and we will too one day! Nevertheless, we both still have tremendous power. But I suppose you cannot expect the likes of the evangelists I always joke about to understand concepts as absolute and relative. That's too scientific.
And I often say, although the United States is characteristic of the tribe of Manasseh due to its bravery and independence (as opposed to Britain's Monarchy), I believe that we are peopled by those of ALL thirteen tribes of Israel not to mention others who came under our wing and enjoy the same blessings. So I am not so sure that all of Ephraim resides in Britain and her commonwealth. As with many other people, I believe many from Ephraim came over here to live with the people of Manasseh because of the vast amount of space and opportunity that goes with it (see Isaiah 49:20).
So there you have it: the rhetorical question. Just how did we know to put those two flags together LOOOOONG before newsworthy events put us together in the war? I humbly warn our critics out there. There just may be some truth to what we teach here about Israel!
