The Men in White Coats that Took Liaf Away

By Liaf

Many in the conservative, Evangelical and fundamental church world think the likes of me is nuts, and I should be taken away for what we teach about the lost house of Israel. Well, the other day, I almost was taken away, but not for the reason you think--- read this short but interesting message.

I was in a Christian bookstore at an outlet mall with my wife. Getting me into a Christian bookstore and truly taking an interest in anything that myriads of theologians write about is a miracle in itself, but I happed upon a book about prophecy. The "age old" question was brought up about the United States in the end times. It claimed that bible students over the years were puzzled as to why such a great nation would not have been prophesied. Of course, the author had his answer down pat quite nicely (more on that soon).

Before I say more on his answer, let me say this. Remember that I was told that I am "sadly misguided in my thoughts". I was "leading people astray", and I am often demanded (after I give tons of scripture that is conveniently ignored) "Where is your proof?". You see, we already answered where the United States will be in prophecy (being the tribe of Manasseh) but are continually ignored as heretics and stupid people. Then after we feed the spiritual food to the starving theologians, they discard it and complain they are still hungry (and nobody is feeding them the answers they seek). So, they $^it on the answers, flush it down, forget about the answers, and then continue to ask the same questions as if some light was never shed on the subject.

Now, let me tell you what this author believed the reason was that the United States was not mentioned. He cited polls and statistics claiming that most people in the United States were born again. Thus, the answer was obvious to him! The people of the United States would be raptured before the Tribulation and there was no need to mention the United States! If the people were gone, so was the country (and the remaining ones would fall because there would not be enough people to work things and the economy would tumble thus bringing what was left to nothing)!

I laughed so hard and hysterically that the woman in the Christian bookstore had to get the guys in the white coats to get me out of there. She thought I lost it.

All joking aside--- this is the type of major CRAP that answers the questions we bring up about Israel, Great Britain and the United States. We are accused of being heretics, even though we back up with what we say with Scripture, but after all the name calling and accusations are presented to shut us up, this is what's left (A theory like this has better proof?). Need I say more? And if anyone does not have eyes to see and accepts such explanations---- God help them is all I can say. I rest my case.
