As of Early 2011, there have been governments toppling all over the place in the middle east. If my readers remember, just 2 months ago I mentioned the ominous lunar eclipse of December 2010 and what it meant for the United States and by extension, the end times. It looks as if there is some truth to this as we see governments falling in the middle east. As of the time of this message, we saw Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, and now Syria toddle. In addition, Ireland also became unsteady. For this reason, I thought I'd put out an emergency end time addendum as I see countries start to align for end time nations.
Although we made a detailed study of the end times, there is still that doubt as to which nations align up and play a role in end times. As my readers know, I have not picked specific nations and shied away from doing so. I will divide the political powers into 4 major categories as I see it in prophetic scriptures: 1) The King of the North (i.e. the 10 nation confederacy), 2) The King of the South and his nations. 3) Gog and Magog and associated nations, and 4) Israel and the lost tribe nations.
Before I go on, we all are at least aware that some nations will be aggressive and others are on the receiving end of a bunch of crap. Now, is Israel one that fights or gets crap? Initially they fight, but they are going to get their butts punched (i.e. the time of Jacob's Trouble). This is one critical reason why it's so important knowing which nations are the lost tribes so that we know their destiny, i.e. famine, persecution, exile and whatnot. We did a good job conveying that idea I believe.
But for the rest of the nations (of the first 3 categories), who do we see aligning up with who? It's probably best to start with the beast's Kingdom because that is the most enigmatic, but the one that seems to get the most attention in the bible. As most of us who read the series here know, the book of Daniel, specifically chapters 2,7,8,9,and 11, give the most information about the beast and his kingdom. Revelation 13 and 17 also describe and identify the beast and his kingdom. Other places mention his charateristics and works which I will not go into as much detail other than to use some of that information to help locate him. Likewise, there are other prophetic mentions of the beast, (e.g. in the book of Isaiah) here and there throughout the bible. So with that thought in mind, let me list the characteristics of the Kingdom, and of the beast.

This is not an exhaustive list, but a list of the primary characteristics of both that are repeated time and time again.
Now, there are many ministries out there that teach a European Confederacy is the Kingdom of the King of the north, and specifically since Germany is Assyria, that the beast will come from there, perhaps rising like another Hitler. We already did a study on this. Look at the lists and compare. Does this sound possible? If it does to you, then you are free to believe that. However, my messages focused more on the origin of the beast and his location implying the end time 10-nation Kingdom will be in a similar geographical region. Is there room for compromise here since the end time scene is not set up yet? After all, 100 years ago before Israel was a nation and the Ottoman Empire was in power, nobody could possibly see the national alliances the same way we do today and thus did not understand bible prophecy as well. There are some that suggest the European model is looking less promising and a middle eastern Kingdom (like we taught) is more likely.
Now for the compromise. Since the beast rises up from amongst them, but is not necessarily part, could it be that the beast will come from the middle eastern regions but associated with nations in Europe as well? However, there may be some nations in the middle east part of this alliance and thus the "partly weak partly strong" component. Or again, He can even be "European" or German perhaps (bloodlineage does not change with one's geographic location or migration) but then makes his operations work from the middle east to resurrect a literal Babylon and plant his feet as the bear according to Revelation.
People are very dogmatic and "so sure" that it sometimes even sways me a little. However, I CAN'T in all good consciousness deny parts of the bible to make only some of the puzzle pieces fit to support a theory. Subconsciously I always thought that the European component, specifically eastern, would be part of the 10-nation Kingdom, but still somehow tied to the middle east. So in all these years I haven't really changed that perspective and is in fact the same compromise I am offering now.
What about the King of the South? I always believed that Egypt would be involved considering so much is said in scripture. In Isaiah notice there will be a highway going from Egypt, Israel and Assyria as if to tie together the South, Israel, and the North who were all originally fighting (or fleeing) from each other in the Tribulation. No doubt seeing the rise of Islamic power these days, the King of the South will be involved with an Islamic Confederacy. And that may be what we are seeing forming now. Remember, in all the turmoil, the beast has to "ride in on the white horse" with a bow but no arrow to appear as the world's savior. We've studied the book of Daniel showing how he would be at conference tables with Egypt (Southern Kingdom). So this all makes sense.
As for Gog and Magog, that is located today where is geographically Russia and China, as Ezekiel 38 mentions this massive invasion during the end time wars from the uttermost parts of the North. In Daniel, the beast is worried about "tidings from the North and the east (northeast)" That is, Gog, and Magog, and Gomer and all his band etc. The people of Gomer are areas of the Asian Islands.
So, look at the lists. See if what you believe holds up. Since I got these descriptions from the bible, we dare not "pick and choose". For us here at eternalthroneofdavid, we will reserve solid opinions as to the specific nations that make each confederacy (and only pointing out the geographical locations), and from our messages in the past you can see that we've honestly did that all along.
